My perfect weekend occurred two years ago when my wife and I visited a ranch in Colorado. There were a variety of activities for us to participate in. We spent every morning going on a romantic walk while the sun was rising. There were several different activities for the afternoon. Some days went kayaking on a nearby lake. Other days we went horseback riding on a trail that wound its way around the campsite. At night we went on several moonlit hikes and participated in ballroom dancing classes. The accommodations were fantastic! The rooms were charming and were quite spacious. The beds were king size and the bathroom fixtures were top notch. The facilities outside of our suite were also very excellent. The ranch had a relaxing spa center that was less than 50 feet from our room. The spa center included a hot tub, a sauna, and a massage center. The dining facilities were also excellent. Every meal was a home cooked meal and the chef came out to greet the people at the ranch. The ranch was very easily accessible by car (it was only about 45 minutes from Littleton). Overall I had an amazing experience that weekend and I would certainly recommend my experience to anyone. I would like to additionally add that my single friend has also attended a similar ranch and had a wonderful time, so it is definitely not necessary to be married or in a relationship to have a good time on such a trip. |
